The 3-Hour Drug & Alcohol Education Program - a.k.a. “Safe & Sober” - is required to convert a foreign driver's license to a Maryland license. The class can be taken online at any time.

After completing the online class, you must take a final exam at our office in ESSEX. Testing is by appointment only, and is available Monday through Friday from 10am to 3pm. You must complete the online course before calling to make an appointment.

The fee is $65 and can be paid online or in person.
